I installed them on Cristines bike yesterday. They went on great and look amazing. Seems like they are going to work perfect too. The machine work on them is top notch, something I am very very picky about as you all know...

I have an 18t EAI Superstar cog in the pouch. Less than 20 miles on it.

I had a long talk with Vince over at Urban Bike Tech about a PITLOCK SET for users that just want to lock up their seatpost and stem/fork/headset. He ended up throwing up a new link on the site for just that. The photo hasn't been updated though. I picked up a set of these for my girlfriends bike since she rides it everywhere and has had parts stolen from her bike. Rather than being scared of getting more parts stolen I figured we would eliminate the chances of someone simply loosening one bolt and taking a few hundred dollars worth of parts in seconds. The Pitlock system uses specific bolt heads that match with one of 256 different tools. So the chances of a thief having the right tool for your bike is very very slim. Even if they had every one it would take forever to find which one it is. Take a look around the site and see what they offer. I highly suggest everyone picks up a set. I am going to get some for my bike real soon.

They also make solid axle nuts that may fit on your track hubs. They have an M10 thread. Not sure if track hubs use M10 or 3/8-26...

Shit, newer model of my bike?

I wasn't involved in any of the planning in the last race so i doubt I'll be in the next one either. im just throwing out a suggestion.

I don't think the train runs late enough to take it back up to LA after the race. Unless it happens earlier than the last race. People could take the train up to LA and race back. People from LA can race down and train it back up.

Checkpoints would be necessary. No relay bs this time though. Just thirty+ miles of self navigation thru a few checkpoints would be dialed. No teams, no partners, no cars, just get from A to B however you can as long as you stay on your bike. Make your own route.

I doubt this race would happen very soon and I highly suggest that it isn't. Take some time to get some legit prizes like last time and make it worth it.
