What made you decide to get a fixed gear bike? Answer seriously and honestly

I saw a Vigorreli with some zipps and it looked pretty sleek with one gear. So i attempted one gear.

Im a newbie here mang cut me some slack T.T

I was tired of walking to school.
My parents were tired of providing rides for me.
I always wanted a track bicycle.
Rewind five months before, I saved up money and decided to purchase a Mercier.
Not only had the bike provide a great way of transportation for me but I have develop a
plethora of new friends ever since due to our common interests in these things.
PLUS, I've also heard it is a big hit with the hipster gals.
