is there a difference in quality between the sugino zen messenger
and the sugino messenger?
The difference is the bolt circle diameter. The Zen is 144mm and the Messenger is 130mm. The zen chainring is also NJS certified, so if you find yourself in Japan racing Keirin that may be important to you.
oh. ok i see now,
haha i dont think i'll find myself racing Keirin
thanks
So apparently I have to post this here considering it got locked on the post I put up... sooooooo.....
I bought this frame with some older wheels and an all around suicide job done on it (new to the whole thing, how was I to know.) After stripping the rear cog (which I was told by three different bike shops that they had never seen that before) and discovering that my seatpost was being held in the tubing with shims made of beer cans, i decided to play take apart mechanic. I have now stripped it down and did a rebuild, but have no idea what kind of frame I have. Luckily the serial number was still legible after I had it sand blasted if I can find a legit website that can tell me what it is. But until then, maybe someone can tell me just off of sight alone. I loaded up a pic of the bike and then the rear drop outs cuz I know that can help maybe identify what it used to be. I'm thinking either a Univega or Centurion from the 80's.
Thanks a bundle.
