In all honesty, that dude does look like he would smell like shit.
at least the dude on the right is wearing an hour of the wolf shirt.
ok...i got stoned this morning saw a roadie ride by, then a tracker and i thought, "why dothey call road bikes that are fixed conversions?"
its still a bike...2 triangles...wheels, you know.
its not like its actually been "converted", likeif you welded your free-wheel, THAT, would be a true conversion i think. cuz you convertedthe free-weel so that it is now fixed.
if you just got a fixed wheel set, the its just a plain fixed-gear bike.
someof the first bikes invented were fixed...they used to do the tours fixed way back in the day...
they were just touring bikes...fixed touring bikes...then the free-wheel came along.
geared bikes switched to fixed does not make it a conversion...just means you simplfied your bike...
but i guess one could say, "i have converted my bike to a more simpler form..."
it doesnt sound proper, though.
hmmm....

You need to stop trying to think. It's really just not working out for you.

I don't know why they call road bikes that are fixed gear conversions.

That one doesn't make sense either.
and: tracker?
That one doesn't make sense either. and: tracker?-bicycole
guy that rides a track bikes on the road.
but seriously...i remember reading somewhere when i first got into this fixed business...." a true conversion would be a free-wheel that has been welded to stay fixed..."
something like that. you know, if i do remember correctly, clutch might have said something similar to what i said in some thread awhile back...
and its not that i try to think...it just happens. do you try to think?
im starting to think that even though i dislike the word "fixie", its a better fitting term than conversion.
i should ask Mr. Jerome, he would probably have a proper response...
i should get my own thread...Jesus Thoughts...then ill put shit in there and you guys can go bag or ponder on my thoughts.

And it would be named... "The Extra Fail Thread".
another way it can be called a conversion is if you cut off the road dropouts and welded some track oneson there...
iveseen it before.
and its not that i try to think...it just happens. do you try to think?

Jesus, are you fucking serious?
