Yeah probably.
What's the trick behind it?
practice on grass, stand up and pedal, put all your weight to the front of the bike, basically as if you're rubbing your weiner on the stem. aka handlebar hump. and just push back with with one foot, and up with the other.it's harder with higher gearing, i can hardly skid with like a 52t. i do like little skid farts.

I'll try it out tomorrow on my way to school...Thanks.
my bike came default 48/16 :/. it was a good all around ratio, but didnt like the fact that there was only 1 skid patch. i just changed my cog today to at 17t.
so now im at 48/17, its actually alot easier to pedal than 48/16-- definitely a good all around ratio with a lot of skid patches! when my legs get stronger im gonna keep going up to like 50+/17

53 x 17 still... as soon as i get a non jbwelded backwheel that cog is getting smaller.
52/17 still and i dont plan on changing.
skids are smooth as butter 'straightpuke' knows :)

48/16 and it sucks to have only 1 skid patch! new tires are bought often. thinking of switching to a 49/16 or 46/16. can't decide. there are not very many hills around GG however i like to trick. so i can't decide. i'm leaning more towards 46 though.
skids are good now...
but i now i need to bump up the pedal power...whats good for off the line with a decent high end power?
48/15?

46/16= 8 skid patches
49/16= 16 skid patches

52/18

yeah, i thought about that, but i didn't want to have to change the rear cog because i don't know how to and my LBS would probably charge me like $25 just because i am a kid. maybe i'll just call my cousin.
