49/16
What gearing do you rock?
49/15
im rocking 48x16 but I want to either do 48x18 or 46x16
what do you think is better for all around riding
48X16 is better. If you drop your ratio too low, youll be slow.
I like the way it feels but I dont want to have one skid patch, I figured I can either buy a cog or a new chainring
mine is 48/17 and i think it's perfect
48X14 its decent. Thinking about changing to 48X16, or one similar that will give me more skid patches.
the low 70's is where it's at.

well a 48/16 wont give you more skid patches so that one would be out of question. 48/16 = 1 skid patch :/
just go to 48/15 if you want your ratio to be slightly easier

isnt a 48/15 a bit of a harder gear ratio
Well, I went with 48X17. I used it on last nights ride and its waaaaaaaay better than 48x14. LOL

The chart shows the gear inches and skid patches. Great tool to use when thinking about what gearing to get.
thanks I had looked at the chart on page 1 I was just wondering from peoples experiences
